MTÜ Islander is an NGO on the island of Saaremaa, established in 2006 by experienced and enthusiastic people who are living on the island and are proud of the rich culture, history and handicrafts of the island. They have many years of experience within several actions of the Youth in Action programme, and focus on organizing trainings, seminars, international exchanges and voluntary service for young people from Saaremaa.
MTÜ Islander aims to improve the social and cultural environment on the island of Saaremaa; to give equal opportunities to young people on the island; to make policy makers, youth leaders and others who are involved with youth work aware of possibilities within the EU; and to act as an information centre for young people.
